Business Development Specialist (Spain) | Printer | Remote | Initial short term contract
Are you a fluent Spanish speaker with a flair for building relationships and spotting new business opportunities? Read on if you're excited by the idea of shaping a brand-new market presence in the short term, with the possibility for the role to develop into a longer term position should the initial phase be a success.
Our partner: Our partner is a well-established printer with a strong reputation across the globe. Known for delivering high-quality print solutions, they’re now assessing the potential for expansion into the Spanish market and are looking for someone commercially minded to help explore and shape this next phase.
Responsibilities:
- Research and evaluate the Spanish market to identify new printer business opportunities and areas for growth.
- Build strong networks and relationships with potential customers and industry contacts.
Experience and skills that will deliver success in this role: The right candidate will be a commercially minded self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to operate independently. You’ll need to be comfortable working in an exploratory environment.
Essential:
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Demonstrated sales or business development experience, ideally within printing, publishing, or a related sector.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and drive progress without fixed KPIs.
- Comfortable operating in a flexible, research-led phase of market development with a strong ability to report back findings to the Snr Leadership team.
Desirable:
- Experience introducing new products or services into the Spanish market.
- Existing contacts in relevant industries (printing, publishing, or media).
- Knowledge of indirect sales and partnership models.
The opportunity: This is a great opportunity that could be taken on either as a consultancy project or an initial fixed-term contract. You’ll be at the forefront of exploring how the printer might expand into Spain, with a focus on research, relationship-building, and opportunity assessment. Your insights will play a key role in shaping future direction, making this ideal for someone who enjoys working independently to explore new markets.
