The Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) is seeking a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist to support small businesses across Canada. This role involves managing the recruitment cycle, counseling hiring managers, and sourcing high-quality candidates while ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Work on the full recruitment cycle function from advertising a role through to hiring and on-boarding the selected candidate using Dayforce
- Proactively Identify and source candidates through different networks available
- Applying best practices when posting job advertisements on CFIB`s Careers website, various online job boards and print media as necessary
- Counsel the hiring managers through the selection process taking into consideration all parts of the process including, assessment profiles and background checks results to make informed recommendations to managers on hiring decisions
- Make use of social media channels and keep up with new trends for recruiting to proactively source high quality candidates
- Facilitate interviews and respond in a timely and courteous manner to candidates’ general inquiries about CFIB’s recruiting process and career opportunities
- Support hiring managers in preparation and presentation of employment offer documents, ensuring Human Resources forms, information packages and onboarding links are delivered to completion as required by new hires
Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting and sourcing for sales roles
- A successful track record in placing successful sales candidates and develop solid working relationships with Hiring Managers
- Work in high-energy team environment
- A self-starter with excellent time management skills and takes a proactive approach to recruiting
- Strong internal drive to exceed expectations
- Bilingual in English and French: You will interact daily with colleagues in other provinces who only speak English and with candidates who only speak English. Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, is therefore required
- Working knowledge in Dayforce or other recruiting software would be an asset
- Strong experience in social media content creation is highly valued
