Associate, Regulatory Affairs - Product Claims and Justification - Global

DECIEM, The Abnormal Beauty Company, is a collective of disrupters and doers in the beauty industry. They are seeking an Associate in Regulatory Affairs to support product claims and compliance, working closely with various teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Responsibilities - Support the Innovation Team (R&D, Clinical, Brands, Legal) in the creation of new products and associated claims - Critically review and assess literature and manufacturer data for substances - Conduct literature search to identify data substantiating the efficacy of new substances - Author substantiation documents for claims development - Manage Certification Programs - Monitor changes in the regulatory landscape to ensure that DECIEM’s product claims are compliant with current standards for print, television, social media, and all other advertising mediums - Collect and summarize documentation needed to support product registrations in emerging markets - Develop responses for frequent customer inquiries - Implement processes to standardize and improve workflow Skills - Relevant education in Regulatory Affairs, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacology or another relevant field OR equivalent work experience is an asset - Good understanding of DECIEM's product portfolio, ingredients, and cosmetic manufacturing process - Understanding of cosmetic databases such as INCI, PCPC and CosIng - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple, concurrent, and often global projects - Familiarity with PLM, ERP, and QMS applications used in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or related industry Benefits - Generous Vacation & Personal Days, plus additional time off for volunteering in your community, voting, peaceful protesting, celebrating your birthday, and more. - 6 months of paid time off for new parents (inclusive of all genders). - Work from anywhere 4 weeks per year. - A hybrid work model (for applicable roles). - Summer Friday’s - get off at 1pm all summer long!
