Cardinal Health Canada is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities. They are seeking an Analyst, Finance Operations to oversee financial processes such as pricing administration, accounts payable, and billing while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate invoices and payment requests to ensure accuracy, proper coding, authorization, and compliance with internal policies
- Collect, organize, and retrieve supporting documentation required for invoice processing, payment review, and internal inquiries
- Enter and upload invoices into financial systems accurately and in a timely manner
- Apply a basic understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and internal controls to support routine financial operations
- Investigate and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies by coordinating with internal business partners
- Maintain records, track data, and support reporting activities using foundational Excel skills
- Prepare documentation for audits to ensure completeness, accuracy, and readiness for review
- Provide supporting documentation to internal and external auditors during audit processes
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in related field
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive attitude, willing and able to work with minimal supervision/direction
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills working in partnership with others
- Interest in and aptitude for a role in Finance is essential - excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
- Bilingualism including French is an asset
- SAP experience, is an asset
