Job Description We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hotline and Customer Care Operator to join our team. As a key member of our wellness hotline, you will play a critical role in providing psychological first aid and crisis support to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives and contribute to our mission of prioritizing mental health. Key Responsibilities: Provide psychological first aid and crisis counselling to crisis callers using English, Cantonese/Mandarin, and Japanese (strongly preferred) Ensure the resolution of crisis situations according to the available protocols Oversee operation and management of wellness hotline services (attend, de-escalate/escalate and intervene) Support clinical team in administrative processes and psychological case management Support operations in other day-to-day tasks e.g., desktop research, data entry, easy translations as needed (10-20% of time) About You We're looking for a highly skilled and compassionate individual who is passionate about mental health and wellness. The ideal candidate will have: Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management Ability to think critically and solve problems in a timely and effective manner Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Commitment to upholding the highest standards of privacy and ethics in handling sensitive data Preferred Qualifications: Ability to speak Japanese and/or Cantonese/Mandarin Some knowledge of Psychology is preferred but not compulsory as training will be provided What We Offer At blithequark, we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that allows our employees to thrive.
