About the Role and Team As a Technical Marine Systems Security Manager, you will be part of our Marine and Technical Operations team, responsible for the technical and maintenance oversight of shipboard, island, and shore-side security systems and equipment. You will work closely with our Security, Risk Management, and Legal teams to provide technical support for investigations and ensure compliance with relevant marine authorities' regulations. Our team is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safety, security, and excellence, and we are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to join our ranks. Key Responsibilities Provide technical and maintenance oversight of security systems and equipment, including CCTV cameras, servers, workstations, and management systems Coordinate and lead repair and service support for security system assets, including inspections, emergency services, and equipment repair Partner with vendors and manufacturers to ensure timely and effective support, including remote troubleshooting, on-site service, and equipment repair Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans, equipment inventory control, and safety/regulatory compliance Collaborate with the shipboard Automation Engineer to maintain the security technical elements of the DCL Maintenance and Purchase (AMOS) Database Ensure compliance with regulations from relevant marine authorities, including Code of Federal Regulation CVSSA, DOD/USCG, Lloyd's Register, PCI, IMO Conventions, SOLAS, ISPS, WDW Risk Management, WDW Legal, and DCL/WDW Security Required Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: 5 years of proven experience in technology networked video surveillance systems Marine vessel experience related to security, with cruise line experience preferable Strong project management skills and experience with cruise vessel security protocols Knowledge of video surveillance technology, networking infrastructure, equipment, and communications Proficiency in video surveillance safety protocols and data protection Excellent communication and administrative skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and company-specific software applications Ability to work in restricted access spaces and travel to the fleet as needed (approximately 25-35% of the time) Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience with AutoCAD drawings and Security Management Software systems (e.g., Milestone, Genetec) Cruise line experience and knowledge of maritime security regulations Education and Training A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Security Systems Engineering (IT) is required for this role.
