Hybrid Property Accountant | Remote | Accountant Role

Job Overview We are looking for a diligent Property Accountant to join our esteemed organization, where we pride ourselves on creating a collaborative and family-oriented work environment. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in preparing detailed monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial transactions. Key Responsibilities • Oversee move-in and move-out accounting processes • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable entries • Monitor daily bank account activities and record transactions • Prepare monthly financial statements and track all transactions for assigned properties • Adjust tenant accounts as needed • Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliations • Post journal entries when necessary • Address tenant disputes with professionalism and timeliness • Review leases and ensure accurate billing for tenants • Analyze financial statements and reports, encompassing income statements, balance sheets, general ledgers, aged receivables, and rent rolls Required Skills • At least 3 years of accounting experience • Proficient in real estate accounting software such as Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, or Real Page • Advanced skills in bolthires Excel • Exceptional attention to detail • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting • Strong organizational capabilities and adeptness at multitasking under pressure Qualifications • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience in property management or a similar field • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred Career Growth Opportunities We are committed to fostering a culture of continuous professional development, offering pathways for career advancement and programs designed to enhance your skills and expertise.
