HVA Medical Scribe (US) (Remote)

Minimum Qualifications: • Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills • Graduate of any allied 4-year medical course (RN is a plus). • At least one year of experience as a Medical Scribe for a US-based healthcare provider. • Typing Speed of at least 50WPM • Strong knowledge of medical terminologies • Experience in using and navigating an EMR/s • Intermediate skills with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office • Excellent time management • Strong attention to detail • Highly organized • Computer savvy Responsibilities: • Accurately & thoroughly document medical visits and procedures performed by the Physician/Nurse practitioner. • Capturing and transcribing consultations (in SOAP format and physician-preferred formats), diagnostic test results, notes from other providers, and patient management plan/health teaching Reviews and prepares medical charts before and after the consultation. • Documenting completed procedures and ensuring medical record compliance through self-attestation documentation. • Establishing a professional relationship with medical professionals and patients by acting as a primary liaison between patients and providers. • Strictly adhering and complying with the HIPAA guidelines.
