This is a dynamic, multifaceted role where your excellence and deep industry knowledge will directly impact the success of our VAs and their client practices. Key Responsibilities & Duties • Instruction & Training Delivery: • Lead Live and Recorded Training: Teach core billing workflows including insurance verification, code usage, claim submission, EOB review, and denial handling. • Scenario Facilitation: Lead sessions focused on payer logic, billing sequencing, documentation, and audit-readiness, using mock billing scenarios to strengthen practical understanding. • Evaluation & Performance Assessment: • Conduct Skills Evaluation Interviews (SEIs): Assess VA accuracy, billing judgment, and system familiarity using mock claims. • Track & Document Progress: Monitor learner progress and document performance via Salesforce, TalentLMS, and internal checklists. • Recovery Training: Lead specialized sessions to address skill gaps and billing quality issues for VAs re-entering the system. • Feedback Delivery: Provide structured, actionable feedback and escalate complex retraining needs as required. • Content & Curriculum Support: • Develop Micro-Modules: Support the creation of training content covering payer updates, claim denials, secondary insurance workflows, and code-specific pitfalls. • Recommend Updates: Propose curriculum revisions based on industry trends, learner performance, and evolving client clinic needs. • Compliance & Technical Guidance: • Reinforce Standards: Teach and reinforce HIPAA compliance, accurate patient ledger handling, and documentation standards across all training. • Real-Time Support: Respond to learner questions on codes, billing sequences, and payer protocols, offering practical advice on communication and accuracy. Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of hands-on dental billing experience (full end-to-end process) in a U.S.-based setting. • SME-level knowledge of codes, EOBs, AR follow-up, appeals, U.S. dental software, and compliance standards. • Prior Training Experience: Must have supported the onboarding or upskilling of VAs, front desk staff, or billing teams. • Technical Fluency: Familiarity with U.S. dental practice management software. • Instructional Ability: Confident in leading live training sessions, SEIs, and developing/revising content based on VA needs and system updates.
