Role Description The Clinical Education Manager (CEM) supports HuFriedyGroup's academic institutions business by delivering cutting-edge research and education to thought leaders and clinicians within dental schools as well as dental hygiene and assisting programs. • Drive revenue and margin growth within an assigned multi-state territory/geographic region of the Academic & Education Sales team. • Meet yearly sales goals and drive growth in market share from competitors. • Ensure all customer experiences are positive, noteworthy, and exceed expectations. • Provide education programs and develop brand awareness and loyalty. • Develop, understand, and manage customer relationships and marketplace dynamics. • Balance time selling established products and new product introductions. • Own relationships with key academic personnel including deans, clinical chairs, faculty members, purchasing agents, and continuing education employees. • Influence clinical students (end-user customers) including dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, orthodontists, periodontists, and specialty clinicians. • Be a subject matter expert in infection prevention, clinical practices & policies. • Utilize dental terminology as it relates to daily practice operations, procedures, and compliance-related work. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or 15+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. • 10+ years of experience working in the dental industry (dental hygiene practice/clinician, dental sales and/or educator) along with 3 years experience in selling technical products or services. • Active dental hygienist (RDH) license required. • Strong knowledge of clinical practices, healthcare regulations, and adult learning principles. • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Requirements • Ability to travel 50%+ within assigned territory. • Love to travel? This position requires up to 60%-65% travel via car and plane within Texas and New Mexico territories.
