Corteva is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Government & Industry Affairs Manager to join our team. As the Government & Industry Affairs Manager, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, advocating for Corteva's interests, and shaping the regulatory landscape. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of government affairs and the agriculture industry, excellent communication and influencing skills, and a demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government, industry associations, and other relevant organizations. Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments at the federal, state, and local levels that could impact the agriculture industry and Corteva. Identify opportunities to advocate for Corteva's interests and shape policies and regulations that drive positive change for the agriculture industry. Build and lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute government affairs strategies and initiatives. Represent Corteva in meetings and discussions with government officials, industry leaders, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and approach. Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings on relevant issues to internal and external stakeholders. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors' activities to inform strategic decision-making. Develop and manage budgets for government affairs initiatives and activities. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. Proactively identify and manage potential issues that may impact Corteva's reputation or business. Communicate the company's positions and perspectives on key issues to internal and external audiences. Stay informed about industry best practices and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills. Support the company's commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility by staying informed about relevant policies and initiatives.
