What we need (job responsibilities): WeLink is looking for GIS Technicians to join our Network Planning team. WeLink’s Network Planning team collects and processes high resolution imagery and elevation data, performs detailed Line of Sight Analyses, creates build plans for wireless internet networks, and performs spatial analysis to inform critical business decision making. GIS Technicians will help digitize rooftops areas that are critical to the Line-of-Sight analysis process. GIS Technicians may also be responsible for managing GIS data, creating network build plans, working with sales teams and install teams to ensure critical infrastructure sites are acquired and installed, and other performing other spatial analysis as needed. What would make you a fit (qualifications): • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related field • 0 - 4 years of experience working in the GIS field • Must be proficient in MS Excel • Experience using ArcGIS Pro • Experience editing data using ArcGIS Pro • Experience managing GIS data • Experience performing spatial analysis tasks • Experience using ArcGIS Online • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Must have experience using ESRI products/tools • XY table to points, XY to line, Spatial joins, Table relating, etc. • Spatial analysis and Model builder would be a bonus • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Experience with Salesforce is a bonus • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills • Must be able to work M-F with a rotating Saturday schedule. • Scheduled hours: 10am - 7pm/11am-8pmMST (may change as needs demand) Benefits • Medical (+ HSA company contribution) • Dental • Vision • Long Term Disability • Short Term Disability • 401(k) with a company match • PTO • 10 Paid Holidays Candidates may work remotely in any of the following states: AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, HI, IN, MA, MN, MO, MD, NC, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, TX, TN, UT, VA, WA. • We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our workforce.
