GIS (Geographic Information System) Project Manager- 100% remote; Must reside w/in 6 hrs of Columbia

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a GIS consultant with at least 5 years of project management experience, and a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in hydrology, geology or geological engineering. This position is fully remote but candidates MUST currently reside within a 6 hour distance from Columbia, SC. Required Qualifications of the GIS Project Manager: • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies. • At least 5 years of experience managing projects. • Must possess a completed bachelor’s degree in Hydrology, Geology, or Geological Engineering. • Must currently reside within 6 hours from Columbia, SC. Responsibilities of the GIS Project Manager: • Coordinate and complete complex hydrogeological project evaluations and project feasibility reviews of historical and background monitoring data for existing and proposed land application sites. • Review and initiate complex groundwater monitoring project plans and specifications for industrial and domestic wastewater facilities using policy and guidance. • Maintain an accurate status of assigned projects in the groundwater tracking system and ePermitting. Work Location:_ Remote.
