Game Developer (Unity)
Black Beach Studio is small 3-person studio seeking a knowledgeable game developer with programming experience in the Unity game engine. We are looking to expand our VR Mech Game, IRON REBELLION, to new heights over the next year as we look to add highly requested features. What we're looking for: • Experience with Unity • Proficiency in C# • Self-Sufficient, motivated • Detail-oriented Responsibilities: • Bringing prototypes to fully fleshed out features • Testing in VR • Review and adapt to the established code base • Making changes to newly developed features following weekly playtests • Fixing Bugs/ Optimization Requirements: • 1-2+ years of Unity (C#) experience or a strong portfolio showcasing relevant content • Ability to follow direction and collaborate closely with the team • Good communication skills and comfort working in a remote, async-friendly team Preferred: • Familiarity with VR • Affinity for mechs or mecha • Experience working with Unity OpenXR systems What we offer: • The opportunity to work on a true passion project • Great work-life balance • Work from home We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
