FSQA Specialist; Hybrid: Onsite and Remote Work

Position: FSQA Specialist (Hybrid: Onsite and Remote Work) Location: Rosemont Employer Industry: Food Distribution and Production Why consider this job opportunity: - Salary up to $90,000 - Hybrid work model with three onsite days per week and the rest remote - Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization - Supportive and collaborative environment with various departments - Chance to make a significant impact on food safety and quality compliance What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Support all aspects of product recalls and market withdrawals, including communication with business teams, suppliers, and customers - Maintain databases and systems required for Recall notification and tracking processes - Manage customer complaints regarding product safety and quality issues - Perform Product Quality Evaluations (PQEs) and summarize findings for stakeholders - Create and maintain reports regarding compliance with food safety and quality policies What is Required (Qualifications): - Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing and/or food safety/quality knowledge - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or a similar field - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks - Strong written and verbal communication skills How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Demonstrated knowledge of FDA regulations, including the Food Safety Modernization Act - Prior experience managing product recalls and understanding of product safety and quality matters - HACCP and Preventive Controls certifications/training - A proactive and enthusiastic approach to tasks #Food Safety #Quality Assurance #Food Distribution #Hybrid Work #Career Opportunities "We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
