Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst role supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting for various business units, helping leaders make informed decisions. Responsibilities Assist in preparing quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans for assigned business units Perform monthly variance and trend analysis to support business performance reviews Support the development and maintenance of financial models and dashboards Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Assist in preparing presentations for leadership and stakeholders Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting and planning efficiency Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, basic modeling) and PowerPoint Ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders Comfortable working independently and in team settings Exposure to financial planning tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning, or other ERP tools) Interest in industry trends and business models in streaming and content production Benefits Full Coverage – Medical, Vision, and Dental Annual discretionary bonus and merit increase Work/Life Balance – generous sick days, vacation days, holidays, and wellness days 401(k) company matching Tuition Reimbursement (up to graduate degree) Company Overview STARZ (NASDAQ: STRZ) is the leading premium entertainment destination for women and underrepresented audiences, and home to some of the most popular franchises and series on television.
