Role Snapshot: • Location: Remote • Position: Engagement Moderators • Start Date: Immediate openings available • Compensation: A competitive salary and benefits package • Company: Workwarp Responsibilities: As an Engagement Moderator, your primary responsibilities will include: • Content Moderation: Monitor user-generated content, including text, images, videos, and audio, within the gaming platform to identify and address any violations of community guidelines and terms of service. • Timely Review and Moderation: Review and moderate user-generated content submissions in a timely and consistent manner, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Policy Enforcement: Enforce and apply established moderation policies and guidelines to ensure a safe and respectful gaming environment. • Escalation and Reporting: Escalate complex or high-risk moderation cases to the appropriate team members or management, as necessary, and provide regular reports and insights on moderation activities. • Collaboration and Contribution: Contribute to the development and enhancement of moderation policies, procedures, and guidelines based on user feedback, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. • User Engagement: Maintain a positive and professional attitude while engaging with users, ensuring their concerns are handled with empathy and respect. Requirements and Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a moderator, preferably in the gaming industry, with a strong background in moderating platforms such as Discord, TikTok, YouTube, etc. • Communication Skills: Mandatory strong good communication skills - both written and spoken English. • Reactive Moderation: Experience in reactive moderation, with the ability to quickly identify and address content violations. • Content Guidelines: Understanding of content guidelines and the ability to identify content that needs to be flagged or escalated further. Preferred Qualifications: • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely. • Content Moderation Tools: Proficient in using content moderation tools and platforms, with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems. • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency and accuracy while reviewing large volumes of content. • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions in fast-paced environments. • Familiarity with Legal and Regulatory Considerations: Familiarity with legal and regulatory considerations related to online content moderation is a plus.
