As a Mainframe Scheduler, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Mainframe systems, including the management of COBOL, DB2, CICS, and Z/OS. You will work closely with our team to identify and resolve technical issues, implement process improvements, and develop and maintain complex systems. **Responsibilities** As a Mainframe Scheduler, your key responsibilities will include: * Managing and scheduling COBOL, DB2, CICS, and Z/OS jobs to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime * Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Mainframe systems, including HOST abends and job restarts * Developing and maintaining complex systems, including the use of TSO and related tools * Collaborating with the Enterprise Content Management team to ensure the successful transition of images from the current contract holder into our system * Implementing process improvements and best practices to enhance system efficiency and reduce errors * Providing exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders and clients **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * 8 years of experience in COBOL programming and support, with a strong background in DB2, CICS, and JCL * Experience with Z/OS and related tools, including TSO * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously **Nice to Have** While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: * Experience with Endevor code management and SyncSort * Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications * Strong understanding of Mainframe security and compliance requirements **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with the ability to collaborate with our team through regular virtual meetings and communication.
