About the Role: UPS Remote Data Entry Professional We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Professional to join our team on a full-time basis, working from the comfort of your own home. As a Data Entry Professional, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data, while providing specialized technical support to our internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities Enter, update, and verify data accurately and efficiently, ensuring high levels of data integrity and quality. Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, using a range of tools and resources, including online knowledge bases and internal documentation. Conduct site visits within the region to investigate issues, install or update equipment and software, and provide on-site support as needed. Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved, and complete service orders to avoid operational delays. Maintain passwords, data integrity, and record system security, adhering to UPS's security protocols and procedures. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: Strong data entry skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical customers. Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (client/server) and experience with a range of technical tools and applications. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with Cisco VPN, Citrix, Apparition, Symantec, Remote Desktop Applications, Active Directory, and various Internet browsers. Familiarity with a range of technical applications and tools, including SPLUS, ETPS2, and E2K. Previous experience in a technical support role, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment.
