Job Overview The arenaflex Choice Science + Mix (DDSI) association is responsible for supporting clients across the organization, including various business segments such as Parks and Resorts, Consumer Products, and Media. The DDSI team utilizes cutting-edge technology, data analysis, and statistical modeling to identify opportunities, inform business decisions, and drive business value. As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be part of the Information Engineering group, which partners with various stakeholders to develop and maintain data pipelines, databases, and data systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain data pipelines, including data acquisition, data validation, and ETL/ELT processes Design and implement database schema, tables, and views to support business requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, develop data models, and implement data solutions Work with large datasets and cloud-based technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms Develop and maintain automated workflow schedulers and data pipelines using tools like Python, SQL, and Docker Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data validation, data cleansing, and data governance processes Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and cloud computing Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and maintenance Proven expertise in using Python and SQL (preferably with Snowflake) Experience with developing in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOP practices for code management/development Strong understanding of relational database design and functionality Preferred Qualifications Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or similar platforms Proficiency in cloud architecture and product offerings, ideally AWS Experience managing and deploying code using a source control system like GitLab/GitHub Experience using Docker and containerization technologies Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and soft skills, including: Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages Experience with data pipeline development, data warehousing, and data governance Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data quality and integrity Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
