At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a culture of inclusivity, creativity, and innovation that inspires our employees to be their best selves. **Responsibilities** As a Data Engineer on our team, you'll be responsible for: * Gathering requirements and scoping sessions with stakeholders to identify and define business data needs * Designing, building, and optimizing data architecture and ETL pipelines to enable data-driven decision-making * Working closely with analysts to productionize and scale value-creating capabilities, including data integrations and transformations, model functions, and statistical and machine learning models * Ensuring the highest standards of data reliability, integrity, and governance to enable accurate, consistent, and trustworthy data sets, business intelligence products, and analyses * Collaborating with the analyst network to identify key user journeys and data sourcing inefficiencies, suggesting best practices, and leading analyst trainings **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics) or equivalent relevant experience * 5+ years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence roles * Experience with relational databases, including SQL queries, database design, and schema layout * Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, etc.) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex, multi-dimensional problems * Excellent business and technical communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills **Preferred Qualifications** * A Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics) * Experience with data warehouses, distributed data platforms, and data lakes * Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders * Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business needs and priorities **What We Offer** At arenaflex, we're committed to providing our employees with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
