Model and share customer service best practices with your team to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. * **Providing Efficient Checkout Service**: Register sales on assigned cash registers, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. * **Assisting Customers with Products and Services**: Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. * **Maintaining a Clean and Well-Merchandised Store**: Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or shift leader. * **Implementing Asset Protection Procedures**: Identify and minimize profit loss by implementing company asset protection procedures. * **Ensuring Compliance with Laws and Regulations**: Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). * **Constructing and Maintaining Displays**: Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Complete resets and revisions as directed. * **Providing Customer Service in the Photo Area**: Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products. * **Assuming Web Pick-up Responsibilities**: Monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, fill orders (pick items), and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store. * **Assisting with Exterior and Interior Maintenance**: Ensure a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. * **Complying with Company Policies and Procedures**: Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers. **Essential Qualifications** * **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: Required * **Customer Service Experience**: 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role * **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills * **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to resolve customer issues and answer questions * **Teamwork**: Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers to achieve team goals * **Adaptability**: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities **Preferred Qualifications** * **Retail Experience**: 1+ year of experience in a retail environment * **Customer Service Certification**: Certification in customer service (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative) * **Leadership Experience**: Experience leading a team or mentoring colleagues * **Technical Skills**: Familiarity with store systems and equipment **Skills and Competencies** * **Customer Service**: Deliver exceptional customer experiences, resolve issues, and answer questions * **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills * **Problem-Solving**: Ability to resolve customer issues and answer questions * **Teamwork**: Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers to achieve team goals * **Adaptability**: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities * **Time Management**: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
