About your role Reporting into the VP of Product Marketing, this role will lead a growing team to acquire customers through various marketing channels (SEM, Social, Display, Video, Affiliate, App Marketing and more). We are looking for an experienced performance marketing leader with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of Paid Channels. This function will play a critical role in owning business KPIs such as Visits, Gross Conversions, and CPA. Key Objectives: • Manage Paid Search and Emerging Channels to an efficient CPA. Identify and scale new opportunities for growth across channels • Own a significant 8-digit paid marketing budget. Own KPIs by measuring effectiveness and impact on key business outcomes • Develop strategic roadmaps and partnering with cross-functional teams for building automation, scalable tools and optimizations around marketplace dynamics and customer LTV • Communicate vision and results to the executive team and influence key decisions • Manage relationships with cross-functional teams (BI, Finance, Ad Ops, Product, Tech) and external partners (Google, Bing, Facebook, measurement partners, agencies, etc.) • Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team that is engaged and motivated to achieve Rocket Lawyer's mission • Establish standards for testing, tracking, reporting and measurement What you'll need • 8-10 years experience leading paid digital advertising. At least 4 years managing SEM with a deep understanding of search bidding strategies including tCPA and tROAS. At least 3 years experience managing app marketing. • 4-6 years of people management experience. Excellent leadership skills with the confidence to lead, manage and engage team members (both direct and indirect reports) • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision making across all levels of the organization • Exceptional analytical capabilities and the ability to turn trends into actionable insights and hypothesis • Executive presence and excellent oral and verbal communication. • Advanced proficiency with Excel. Excellent in-depth knowledge in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, Mobile MMP attribution measurement partner, etc. • Passion for hands-on contribution and in-the-weeds work as well as team management and delegation • Keeping up with emerging technology trends and platforms within digital marketing, both web and app. • Partnering with cross functional teams to build out our Marketing Tech stack • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field preferred. Compensation Base salary range by location: • San Francisco Bay Area, CA: $172,125 - $220,000 • California (outside of San Francisco Bay Area) $159,200 - $215,400 • Colorado: $146,300 - $197,900 • Utah, Arizona, and North Carolina: $137,700 - $186,300 Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, specific work location, and performance during the interview process. $137,700-$220,000 USD By applying for this position, your data will be processed as per Rocket Lawyer Privacy Policy.
