DevQA Tester

Summary Magic Media is building a DevQA team for games, seeking motivated individuals passionate about games and critical assessment of functionality and design. The DevQA Tester will be embedded in the development team, participating in discussions and feature creation. Responsibilities include identifying, recording, documenting, and tracking bugs, evaluating feature quality for user experience and playability, and performing in-depth regression testing. Must Have • Identify, record, document in detail, and track bugs. • Evaluate the quality of features on user experience and playability. • Perform in-depth regression testing when bugs are resolved. • Collaborate in a team with other testers. • +1 year experience in the gaming industry. • Demonstrated experience in test planning for complex features/systems. • Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis. • Experience in testing on video games consoles (dev-kits) environments. • Experience in Compliance QA. • Passion for video games and software quality. • Fluent in English. Good To Have • Shipped multiple game titles as a QA. • Experience in testing mobile games. • Experience in testing VR and AR. • Coding knowledge: C#, Unity.
