Cboe Global Markets seeks a Derivatives Market Structure and Functionality Intern to support market research, data analysis, and design of new trading features in a hybrid work environment. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Work closely with the Derivatives Market Structure team, including the VP of Derivatives Market Structure • Conduct market research and analysis of exchange functionality and features • Understand priorities of various market participants across the exchange ecosystem • Contribute to rigorous data analysis that drives impactful business decisions • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design new exchange functionality • Integrate artificial intelligence tools to streamline workflows and enhance solutions About You The company is looking for: • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Math, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, not graduating before December of the internship year • Strong interest in financial markets and intellectual curiosity about complex systems • Ability to work effectively on multiple assignments, both independently and within a team • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Preferred: proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, MATLAB • Preferred: exposure to query languages such as SQL • Preferred: experience with Tableau, Sigma, or other data visualization software Compensation & Benefits • Competitive hourly pay range of $22.00 - $42.00 depending on education level • Flexible hybrid work environment: 3 days in office, 2 days remote per week • 2:1 401(k) match, up to 8% match immediately upon hire • Daily complimentary in-office lunch from local restaurants • Endless free coffee and snacks • Monthly in-office networking events and happy hours • Associate Resource Groups (ARGs) and affinity groups for support and community building Training & Development Interns participate in robust Options Institute courses and gain real-world experience designed to encourage academic, professional, and personal growth.
