Customer Supply Chain Specialist - Retail eCommerce

Job Summary Provide dedicated supply chain support to eCommerce consumers, customers (Amazon/Walmart/etc), and sales reps, advising and reporting on order status, and monitoring of customer portals to preserve performance metrics. Maintain strong relationships with customers’ supply chain teams to maintain efficient order-to-invoice processes. Job Description Responsibilities Provide dedicated customer supply chain support to an assigned channel of customers and sales representatives. Advise customers and/or sales reps on product shortages, expected delivery dates and price changes. Build relationships with customer's supply chain team to maintain best in class order to invoice (OTI) efficiencies. Manage order process (EDI, manual, rush orders) for both Customers and sales representatives. Resolve order blocks, price issues, inventory issues and follow-up with customers as needed. Collaborate with Customers and Sales to establish mutually agreeable lead-times for product delivery and schedule activities to consistently achieve those lead-times. Generate and review a complexity of reports related to open orders, operations and sales to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OTIF, Open Orders, Shipped Not Billed for assigned channel. Process OSI's (Operational Service Issues) that result from shortages /mis-picks, damaged freight, price discrepancies. Communicate with internal and external partners to meet vendor compliance requirements. Escalate when necessary to meet and improve customer’s vendor compliance scorecards. Responsible for accessing Customer portals to update and resolve order issues in accordance to Customer guidelines. Monitor Vendor Compliance Retail inbox in combination with the Appian site to ensure all tasks are completed promptly. Tasks must be resolved in Appian or disputes submitted within the required timelines. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal departments such as receivables, pricing, marketing, returned goods, warehousing, and transportation to ensure smooth operations. Identify and evaluate cost-effective opportunities to streamline operations, enhance customer service, and minimize operational expenses. Required Experience High School Diploma. At least 3 years Customer service, supply chain, manufacturing, distribution or purchasing experience. Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling). Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: designing and creating simple queries, modifying data types, adding dates, working with required fields and/or creating labels). Experience in supply chain, procurement or fulfillment, ideally in CPG (Consumer Product Goods), DTC (Direct to Consumer, or fast scaling ecommerce. Experience working with retail ecommerce such as Amazon and Walmart. The anticipated salary range for this position: $23.25 - $32.50 Hourly The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
