Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Consultant/Manager

We’re a direct-response brand with long-form funnels. We need a data-driven CRO pro who can own testing end-to-end and move fast—launching and analyzing experiments across the entire funnel without waiting on a developer. What you’ll do - Maintain 3–4 live A/B or MVT tests at any time across landing/sales pages, checkout, upsells/downsells, and post-purchase. - Test copy, design, and layout; prioritize impact vs. effort; QA thoroughly. - Optimize by funnel type, device, geo, creative/UTM, and traffic source. - Track and optimize for AOV, conversion rate, 30-day ROAS, and LTV (not just CVR). - Build/maintain a lightweight KPI dashboard (Looker Studio/Airtable/Sheets) for test velocity and business metrics. - Document hypotheses, set-up, stats plan, results, and next steps for every test. - Collaborate with media buying and lifecycle to align onsite experiments with traffic and creative. Must-have experience - 3+ years running CRO for direct-response, long-form funnels (info/ecom/subscription or similar). - Can implement tests without a developer using VWO/Convert/Optimizely (plus light HTML/CSS/JS and GTM). - Strong analytics: GA4, GTM, experiment design, sample size/power, segmentation, clean event tracking. - Excellent documentation and clear reporting; bias to speed and rigor. - Media buying collaboration, creative testing, email/SMS automation. ~~ Big plus~~ - Mobile UA via Web2App, onboarding flows, and quiz funnels. - Automation & AI tools: Zapier, Make, n8n, Airtable; Product analytics (Mixpanel/Amplitude); behavior tools (Hotjar/FullStory); attribution (HYROS/Triple Whale). KPIs you’ll be measured on - Test velocity: 3–4 live at all times; ~8–12/month. - Impact: Valid wins that lift 30-day ROAS/LTV (plus AOV/checkout CVR). - Speed: Median idea-to-live under 7 days for standard tests. - Rigor: Clean instrumentation, segmentation, and reproducible docs.
