WindBorne Systems is a company focused on enhancing weather forecasting through a unique data source involving the world's largest balloon constellation. They are seeking multiple Business Development Associates and Leads to drive sales and expand partnerships with federal and commercial clients, leveraging existing relationships and leading the sales lifecycle. Responsibilities Lead Generation: find WindBorne’s next anchor customers, qualify them, and form engagement strategies Customer Expansion: leverage our current contracts and relationships to grow WindBorne’s existing footprint Alliance Cultivation: Continually grow and strengthen WindBorne’s foundational customer relationships Sales Lifecycle Execution: Be the driving force behind every step of the sales cycle Technical Expertise: Become an expert on WindBorne’s products, differentiators, and our place as an authority in the weather industry Skills Direct sales experience in a technical environment, with either hardware or software Prior success in establishing contracts with greenfield clients Superior written and verbal communication skills with incredible presentation creation and delivery acumen Deal creativity–no two customers are the same, and this role requires recognition and accommodation of that truth High interpersonal intuition.
