As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of blithequark, addressing incoming telephone, digital, or written inquiries with a commitment to providing timely and accurate solutions. About the Role The Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in representing blithequark by ensuring that patient issues are resolved through independent problem-solving, with a goal of achieving first-call resolution. This involves answering phone calls utilizing a multi-line telephone system, taking appropriate actions such as scheduling appointments, taking messages, and transferring calls to the relevant staff. Key Responsibilities Answer phone calls and respond to digital or written inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Ensure accurate and timely processing of all requests by taking appropriate actions, such as scheduling appointments or transferring calls. Maintain thorough records by documenting discussions, messages, and actions taken to process inquiries. Resolve patient issues through independent problem-solving, aiming for first-call resolution. Foster teamwork and partnerships with cross-functional departments to resolve issues and improve customer experience. Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, to perform tasks efficiently. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: Be bilingual in English (read, write, and speak) and Spanish (speak). Have a reliable cell phone and a minimum internet speed of 10mb down and 1mb up (no satellite internet allowed). Possess experience in a highly customer service-oriented environment. Demonstrate strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Remain calm and helpful when dealing with upset customers. Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Experience in a medical office setting utilizing a computer-based practice management software system. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to handle high call volumes and multi-task while providing an exceptional customer experience. Experience with electronic medical records systems such as E-Clinical Works, Epic, Athena Health, or NextGen. Familiarity with Avaya telephony platform. Knowledge of and strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines. Working Hours and Schedule This role requires working Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm and Saturday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm, totaling 40 hours per week. Compensation The compensation range for this role is between $34,500 and $47,400 per year, depending on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
