Summary: The role is for an Azure DevOps, GitHub, C# Developer on a 100% remote contract basis, aimed at migrating financial applications from a legacy system to Azure DevOps and GitHub for the New Hampshire Insurance Department. The position requires immediate availability and involves collaboration with the DevOps team, application testing, and documentation to ensure the viability of critical applications. The candidate must have experience in Azure DevOps, GitHub, C#, and SQL Server, among other skills. This contract is expected to last approximately 24 weeks, working 37.5 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Run current legacy builds as a migration control. Collaborate with the DevOps team in the creation of new pipelines and processes for NHID applications. Facilitate application tests with the IT Lead and NHID. Perform analysis, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation. Create application and data diagrams for the migrated applications. Produce estimates of time and resources required to perform various tasks. Work as directed by DoIT management to meet DevOps and documentation standards and best practices. Take appropriate steps to protect any regulated data. Key Skills: Development experience in Azure DevOps including pipeline creation, testing, etc. Development experience with GitHub, specifically working with integration of Azure DevOps and GitHub. C# development experience, including experience with legacy code. Experience with MS Visual Studio. SQL Server (2016 through current) development experience, including working with stored procedures. Experience with Crystal Reports for creating, maintaining, and modifying reports. Experience creating detailed technical documentation for applications. Note: Submitted candidates should be available to begin w/in 2weeks of an offer as client needs to get someone in the role ASAP in January.J0B DESCRIPTION:- The client needs a developer resource to assist w/migration of financial applications from legacy system to Azure DevOps & GitHub.- The New Hampshire Insurance Department (NHID) has internally developed applications that are business-critical, including the financial system. The department does not have a developer resource to maintain these applications. - The source code is currently maintained in Harvest, which is in the process of being replaced by Azure DevOps and GitHub. These applications need to be migrated from the legacy Harvest environment to the new Azure and GitHub DevOps environment. - This project will ensure the viability of the application source code and build process for future maintenance and enhancements.
