Auto Claims Liability experience required - This is a fully remote opportunity, and the ideal candidate will have an active adjuster's license, in Florida or Texas. SCOPE: As a level II Adjuster for the PD Standard, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, evaluating damages, and providing fair settlements to policyholders in accordance with company policies and industry regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of property and casualty insurance, excellent analytical skills, and strong communication abilities. This position offers a remote work arrangement, allowing the ideal candidate to work from their preferred location within the Southeast region. DUTIES: • Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims, for both coverage and liability, and may include those involving injuries. • Gather relevant information, including photographs, statements, and documents, to support the claims evaluation process. • Interview involved parties, witnesses, and experts to gather additional information. • Evaluate property damage, injuries, and liability factors to determine the appropriate level of coverage and settlement amount. • Utilize specialized tools, software, and industry knowledge to estimate repair costs and replacement values, as needed. • Interpret insurance policies, contracts, and regulations to ensure claims processing adheres to company guidelines and legal requirements. • Analyze policy coverage and exclusions to accurately determine claim eligibility. • Properly document claim investigations, assessments, and settlements. • Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, attorneys, and other stakeholders to explain claim decisions and negotiate settlements. • Handle disputes and conflicts, working towards mutually acceptable resolutions. • Provide excellent customer service by maintaining open and transparent communication with policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders. • Address inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. • Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and legal, to ensure accurate and consistent claims processing. • Stay up to date with industry trends, legal updates, and best practices in property and casualty insurance. • Adhere to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. EDUCATION: • Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, or a related field (preferred). • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an adjuster. • Adjuster’s License, in Florida or Texas.
