Digital Verification Engineer – 6-Month Contract We are seeking an experienced Digital Verification Engineer to lead the verification of a large mixed-signal ASIC as part of a short-term design project. This 6-month contract role is dedicated to digital functional verification of an existing design nearing completion. You’ll bring strong hands-on expertise in testbench development, simulation, and debugging, working in a fast-paced environment with occasional travel to our Oxford headquarters. What You’ll Be Doing Creating and executing comprehensive verification plans , using methodologies such as constrained random and formal verification. Developing and maintaining verification infrastructure including testbenches, test cases, and verification components. Writing and executing test cases to validate RTL functionality. Collaborating closely with RTL designers to quickly identify, root-cause, and resolve issues. Running and maintaining regressions , providing regular results and progress reports. What We’re Looking For Essential Experience & Skills 5+ years’ hands-on experience in digital ASIC verification. Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM for functional verification. Solid understanding of digital logic, RTL design, and verification principles. Experience with industry-standard simulation tools (preferably Cadence Xcelium ). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash for automation and workflow optimisation. Highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to document work clearly and accurately. Self-motivated, capable of working independently and meeting tight deadlines. Desirable Experience verifying the digital components of large mixed-signal ASICs.
