Agile Scrum Master_100% remote

Client company has requested a leased employee resource to support the Information Technology (IT) Department in providing scrum master services. The resource must be experienced to support the implementation of CLIENT's customer technology initiatives. The contractors will apply SAFe principles to organize work to deliver technology and enhance effective team performance. Each contractor will support up to three of CLIENT's agile teams. Contractors will lead scrum teams through all team ceremonies, participate in quarterly program increment planning and ensure delivery of high-quality technical solutions in accordance with CLIENT's polices and standards for technology development and change management. Contractors will also participate across the Agile community in scrum or scrum ceremonies and be able to represent the status of efforts and health of team. Mandatory Requirements (Pass/Fail) Scrum Master Certification Minimum three (3) years' experience as a scrum master using Scaled Agile Framework - SAFe Must show experience identifying impediments and advocating for the resolution/mitigation of the impediments Must have served as a Scrum Master for a minimum of one (1) year to Agile teams, with experience in facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives and quarterly program increment planning. Must have minimum three (3) years of experience and knowledge working with of Atlassian JIRA and Align work management tools. Must have experience in the ability to create and manage Agile team backlog, sprint plans, roadmaps and productivity reporting within the work management tools. Must have experience in the ability to coordinate and link test cases and test results with development of user stories and tasks. Must have experience in the ability to promote and support Agile principles and practices across the organization. Must have experience in the ability to remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to ensure uninterrupted progress. Must have experience in the ability to collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs and assist with user story refinement. Must have experience in the ability to track and communicate team progress, metrics, and performance to stakeholders. Must have experience in the ability to facilitate continuous improvement efforts and support team development and coaching. Must have experience in the ability to coordinate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to foster organizational Agile maturity. Must have experience in the ability to assist in risk identification and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle. Desirable Qualifications: Has the experience in the ability to foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within teams Utility (electric, water, or gas) environment, company, or sector experience. Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies and development best practices. Strong and excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Proven experience as a Scrum Master working in Agile software development environments. Relevant certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence without authority. Experience in utility or public sector environments is a plus. Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) Assumptions Contractors must have reliable internet, work exclusively within the United States. Contractors must be available for any meetings generally scheduled between the hours 8 am and 5 pm Pacific Time.
